01 GTP no mods other than a K&N intake.
Under mild acceleration I hear almost like a static or feedback "whirring" or buzzing.
Any thoughts? clogged cat? something to do with the supercharger?

your probably hearing the sc if this is after intake install that you noticed this sound.

no ive had the intake on over a year. I know it sounds drastically different. this is more of a buzzing noise
if you can hear the sound when in park, take the belts off and run it for a minute to see if you can still hear it, do not drive it like this, just start it, rev it some, shut it off, or you'll over heat it and have no power steering and can kill the rack by driving with no power to the rack.

its not evident when in park or when idliling. Only under acceleration.
can you tell where its seems to be coming from? i know this is kinda hard to do driving with the hood down. if you have a passenger maybe they could help narrow it down to pass side or driver side.
could be the trans pump if its from the driver side, you may need a simple pan drop and filter change. hows the tranny feel lately? shifting ok?

tranny shifts nice. its almost like its coming from behind me on the passenger side of the car
bar rear tire or hub?
check the tire, but also jack the car up and see if you feel play in the wheel while pushing and pulling, it should feel tight. (no play) leave the lug nuts tight for this test.
or it could be a back brake hung up, or the e brake hung up inside the rotor.
abs light on?

Replaced both front hubs on monday. had a wheel alignment done and shop replaced tie rod ends on both sides.
I thought it was the hub as well but its still there. just jacked it up and there nice and tight. ill investigate the e brake. no codes come up and no lights are on.
im puzzled
the back wheels will spin freely when the cars jacked up, you can spin it and listen for noise as well.

Still cant figure this out.
Maybe something to do with axle, as you said your not hearing it when vehicle is in park. Can you upload a vid?
Ill take a vid tonight thanks!
