I like that sound! both coming toward you and going away!

factory supercharged?????? that almost looks like a shop threw a kit on it, and they were out behind the building testing it.

I saved that video to my YouTube favorites almost a year ago. They don't come supercharged, that was added on. But I never get tired of hearing those things roar.

Ah, just wait for the G8 GTP, and drop a supercharger on that. Mmm, 700 HP, in a four door sedan.

If GM did that here for the US market, they wouldn't sell. People are already complaining that $32k is too much for a G8 GT, and the GXP coming out in a few months STARTING at $40k is "a rip off". So what would people say to another $2k - $3k for a supercharged model? Americans are extremely unreasonable. They want a 500hp car, they want it to get 30 MPG, and they want it all for $20k.

Heck, I'd like to get a decent station wagon. I will NOT buy a mini van, and US car companies only sell "sport wagons." It's a freaking station wagon - it gets the decent gas mileage that cars get, with much of the room that mini vans have. I almost got a Magnum before I got my Impala, but since Chrysler doesn't give a crap about gas mileage, I skipped it. I'm disappointed the G8 station wagon was canceled; I would have picked that up. Just because you have 3 children under 10 doesn't mean you don't want to still have fun when you're driving!

YEA...from what I have heard it is just a mock up from the Magnacharged G8. Pretty universal and it isn't new technology as they used it on the GTO/TB SS, etc. with the LS2

House of Boost has 638HP, while Intense has 723................

I wonder who has the fastest G8 now? I think that video is a bit old...
