Default 94 Chevy camaro

black, 5spd, V6, alpine head unit, 110.xxx miles, new ties all around.

It has been in storage the past 3 years. body is imaculate except for one little dent i front of the drivers rear tire.

starts on the first crank. I bought it off the original owner, and she was very easy on it. she just drove it to and from work.

oh, I forgot. it is a solid top, with oll up windows. it is lightweight...perfect for an engine swap or a daily commuter.

1500.00

I will get pics of her this weekend. I will be bringing her home. tired of paying storage on it.

If only it was a 95 car~! I have been looking for a 3800 f-body for quite a while as it has plans for it waiting to be put into motion. I may still be interested but its a lot of work to change from one to the other.

I have a couple L67's in my garage. I was going to modify the cowl a lil bit or space down the kmember to accept the blower on top. I would have put pics up but I didnt bring the car home....it is raining out and VERY VERY VERY foggy.

so I will try to get them up by next weekend.

I had picked this car up from my other friends wife from my work. she was the original owner of it and bought it brand spankn new. drove it then put it in storage. she told me it was low options, she didnt know what engine it had..so she said it was a V6. selling point of it was solid top/roll up windows....perfect for race car. I had only seen the car once....just exterior(debadged)..with a harley davidson stocker in back window. fine. been in storage for 4 years...dirty as heck....which is where it sat and sat and sat even since I have owned it.

you want to know something really sad. I just sold the camaro this past week to another friend of mine from work. Apparently........it was more than meets the eye. my buddy(wrecked his car this past week and needed a car) so I sold the camaro to him. NOW...I am kicking myself in the rearend for it. seriously I am in tears. wasnt a V6 car. was a special car. no AC, no options, roll up windows, solid top. IT WAS A FRICKEN 1LE!!! a 94 1LE!!!!! and I threw it away!!!!! you have any idea how rare that car is??????? he drove it to work tonight just to mock me.

only 135 94 1LE's were ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 21 went to canada.

I AM SERIOUSLY IN TEARS!!!!!!

You didn't look at the car before you sold it???

anywhoo, here's a bit of background on the 1LE package for those of us who arent as familar with it:

What's included in the 1LE performance package? The package required these options (Z28):
  • Basic option group (FZAB/1SA)
  • A/C delete (until 1996 when A/C became standard)
  • 6-speed tranny or performance rear axle with the automatic (GU5/G92)
  • Z-rated tires w/ 150 speedo (QLC/QLC)
  • Base stereo
and it consisted of:
  • Higher rate front springs (360 lbs/in for mid-1994 and after)
  • Variable rate rear springs (130-180 lbs/in for mid-1994 and after)
  • Stiffer front and rear shocks (Koni double adjustable for 1996 and after)
  • Harder bushings (front upper/lower and rear control arms)
  • Larger diameter anti-sway bars (32mm front, 21mm/19mm rear)
  • Increased cooling (for 1995 and after)
  • Engine oil cooler (1993 - 1995)
The 1993 1LE cars had the same springs and deCarbon shocks (but with much stiffer valving) as on the stock Z28s. Initial 1994 1LE cars received the same set-up, but sometime during model year (between Dec 94 and Mar 95), the 1LEs received stiffer (higher/variable rate) springs and the shock valving was slightly reduced (but still considerably stiffer than the stock deCarbon valving). Due to the stiffer springs and modified valving, the 21mm rear sway bar was dropped in favor of the 19mm bar (which was the same as on the stock Z28's). In 1996, the Koni double adjustable shocks became standard on the 1LE cars. Increased cooling on 1995 and after models was accomplished by the addition of an air conditioning radiator baffle even though no AC was available in 1995.
Here's a list of suspension parts and prices for 1994 models:
Part No. Description Wholesale / List Price
22145653 Left front upper control arm $109.50 $146.00
22145654 Right front control arm $109.50 $146.00
22145389 Left front lower control arm $111.75 $149.00
22156436 Right front lower control arm $111.75 $149.00
26032907 Front stabilizer bar $67.37 $89.70
26039956 Stabilizer bar insulator (2)$7.20 $10.00
10262147 Rear axle tie rod $33.94 $45.25
10164151 Rear lower control arm (2) $49.31 $65.75
10021221 Rear stabilizer bar $45.94 $61.25
22124790 Rear shock absorber (2) $57.75 $77.00
22132561 Front springs (2) $80.00 $100+
22132562 Rear springs (2) $80.00 $100+
