Up for sale is my 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTX. This grand prix is loaded with all the options available in 1997. 3800 supercharged, AT, PL, PW, Leather, Moon roof, polished wheels, CD bose sound system, heated/power drivers seat plus more. It has almost 89,500 miles. It looks excellent inside and out, runs and drives great!

A little bit about my GTX. I bought it with 30,000 miles back in 2000 (2nd owner). A Grand Prix GTX is an SLP optioned car. You could buy these cars new from 1997-2003 with whatever GTX options installed by a SLP dealer. My car started its life out as a fully loaded GTP and after i purchased it i added on The Stage 1 options which included Functional Ram Air hood with cold air intake, exhaust, badages, GTX head rests and floor mats. I have since Added the Stage 2 parts New PCM, and high temp stat, and Stage 3 which is a 3.4 (smaller super charger pulley). Factory was a 3.8 pulley if i remember right. I had them installed by Coffman Glass in Grand Rapids Michigan(still have paper work. I also recently did the brakes and battery in the past year. Its water pump was replace about 2 years ago.

The car is in excellent shape for being 13yrs old but there are a couple things that will need attention down the road. 1. There is a very very small power steering leak. 2 It will need front tires down the road.

I re-read my post and would like to clarify a couple of things.

1. My car is a GTX Stage 1 Car. The options where installed by the SLP Dealer Coffman Auto Glass and Trim. I had purchased the Base Package Part #51097, Stage 1 Package Part #50958, and GTX Floor Mats & Key Chain Part #51114. I want to re-emphasize that i had these options added by on the SLP Dealer which the Grand Rapids area dealers used to do GTX's. These parts came with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty when i had them installed. I have all the paper work on the install, invoices, price list, brochures etc. Also I have confirmed with SLP about the situation (having a 1997 GTP and adding the GTX Equipment in 2003) and the tech confirmed what they told me when i added the options.. that my car is a GTX... After asking me a series questions about when and where i had the parts installed. He said that from 1997-2003 GTX parts could not be purchased apart from adding on the packages by SLP dealers. These options nearly cost me $3,000.00 to add. If you guys still do not believe me please give SLP a call and learn more about these cars. (732)-349-2109. They are really nice they answered a number of questions i had about the GTX and my 1996 WS6 Formula.

2. the Stage 2 and 3 parts i did add myself. I did not have a SLP dealer install these parts as they stopped the W-Body in 2003.
