iTrader: (0) ![]() | I am doing some pretty major mods to my car right now and I have noticed that while I have the motor out it would be a good time to replace the coolant....What my question is which coolant will keep my car the coolest? I have a 160* Tstat but would still like to make sure it ran as cool as possible.

iTrader: (1) ![]() | changing coolant won't help it cool better, and keeping the car cold doesn't do anything for performance (just fools the computer into dumping more fuel)

| GT Level Member | my car ran 10-15° cooler when i dumped dexcool for slandered green. This was messaured by scan master and a tech II. Now in my regal i changed dexcool when i did LIM and i dropped a from dead center tick to half way to the next lowest tick with just green coolant.
