Default Power Windows

so today i went to go check out my power window problem, it wasn't rolling down or up, i checked everything and even cleaned the tips for the switch's (this is for the passenger side window) i took the door panel off to chaeck the motor. and i could tell that someone eles has already been inside that door panel and replaced the motor, because it is brand new, anyways i can hear the motor clicking to try to go down but it just wont could there be another problem that is holding it up? also where is the ground for the power windows at ?

Most times if the motor is good, you will find that a cable is broken or the cam is jammed up. The easiest way to check it is to remove the regulator assembly, and test without the weight of the window on it. Then remove the motor and see if it turns, if not, then the motor is bad. you can then check the regulator and make sure that it moves freely up and down the channel.

You can find the parts from Ed Morad (gtped@msn.com) if you want used parts, or if your looking for new, windowmotor.com
