ok i have been threw all the muffler threads and listened to the clips and i think i am going to end up keeping my stock mufflers and just change the tips, but what i was wondering after doing the u-bend if i get ported headers and a new cross over is it going to change the sound into something that i may not like ? does anyone have any vid's with just headers ? what about this ?

That one has the Force mufflers, which are similar to Flowmaster. I just did what you did a week ago. I've decided to go with magnaflow mufflers and a bullet glasspack. It'll sound good and be relatively inexpensive.

Coming Up: A 4T65E with a functioning TCC solenoid...

Porting the manifolds and changing the crossover isn't going to change the sound that much. I suspect it won't hardly be noticable.
