so myself, Dan (DanGTP), and his roommate Chris installed my 2.5" ZZP catless o/r DP last night into the 05 GP. The top end gain is really noticeable, especially with a ported exhaust mani, i love it! But there is also a definite rasp, it sounds terrible (to me anyway). the sound im hearing would (I assume) be comparable to a cat being simultaneously drowned and strangled, not very pleasant. But i still have the stock res and muffler...whats the deal? I know that the cat reduces a lot of the engine noise besides what the muffler...muffles.lol. im going to convert my stock single exhaust to dual exhaust with flowmasters pretty soon, but will that help any or will the rasp still be there? thanks guys....
