Default Gauges

Got the A-pillar pod and trans temp, oil pressure, and air/fuel gauges. I need to run the back light of the gauges to the backlight on the factory speedometer cluster. Anyone happen to know which wires i can tap into to run the back light to my gauges so they turn on only when i turn on the lights. Figured id ask because i really dont feel like testing all the wires, was possibly thinkning about running the wires to the interior light fuse. hopefully there is an eaiser way that someone might know.

I dont have the stuff with me right now to answer the question, but if you take off the little cover there on the drivers side dash, you can tap into the wires that go to the headlight switch I believe or it may have been the dimmer, I cant recall for sure. If I can dig up the info I'll post it up.

Yeah i was looking in there and saw the headlight switch harness. I dont have a test light to test the positive source. That would really help me out if you have that info, thanx

If the Ontario group gets upset for me posting this then I'll remove it, but here is a link to the how to. The lighting information is all the way at the end. Hope it helps out.

^ this is the way I mounted/wired my a-pillar gauges. Works out well! Just use some wire loom unless you snake the wires through the a-pillar and into the fuse box. Make sure you have enough slack so you dont have wires comming out from the a-pillar.
