The lock on my passenger side door only moves about half way when I hit the lock switch on my drivers side door or the lock button on my key fob. Sometimes this locks the door but most of the time I have to hit the switch/button multiple times to get the lock to completely move into the locked position. I've squirted WD40 into the moving part of the lock but it didn't make a difference. Thoughts or ideas?

pull the panel, and inspect, wd40 is a cleaner nothing else so get a lithium or silicone lube on it, you probably have a rod that popped out of it's plastic retainer
