| the battery will drain if the car sits for a couple days. I installed a new deck a month ago, but didn't think that was causing it. Took it to autozone, battery checks good, and the alternator checks good except that it put out a max amps of 215, which a 105 to high. they suggested a groung problem, or a fusible link. does that sound right to everyone, and where on the car are the fusible link and ground wire? ![]() it's an 03 |

| Funny I am having the same problem, but my sub frame ground form the battery is questionable so I am redoing it and hopefully my battery won't keep losing charge every so many days.

| My car has this exact same problem. I found that I was still pulling 90mA well after the car was shut off and isolated it down to a single fuse under the hood. That fuse controls over a half dozen items but all my interior lights flicker at night and when I flip my dimmer knob all the way over to turn on the interior lights they only come on some of the time even though they always come on when I push the button next to them. I always had to disconnect my battery whenever I wasn't going to be driving for any length of time and now that I've isolated the circuit I still have to pull that fuse so that I know my car will start in the morning. I just don't have the cash or the knowhow to trace all the wiring behind my dash to find the short so for now I'll have to put up with resetting all my car stereo settings every time I get in the car. Until this post I had yet to come across anyone else with electrical issues. Here's the link to my original post about it in case it can help you in any way.
