ok so i have a aftermarket cd player in my 2004 grandprix gt and i have amps and subs and the amp always stays on even when the cars off any ideas why or has this happend to someone else

If you have the remote wire hooked up from the amp. Typically a blue wire. Then the amp should turn on and off automaticly. As long as the remote wire is hooked into a switched 12v source and not a constant 12v source. Sounds like you have it ran through a constant source to me.

where do u have power wire for amp ran? if its staright to battery disconnect and and hook it to fuse box under hood

Also check the wiring at the amp. Had a friend that that happened to and just one small strand of wire from the remote wire was touching the power wire and kept his amp on. He had the wires twisted and didn't use connectors.
