BTW, before anyone says anything, I did fix my supercharger belt while I was in here. I got the cover off and noticed it was one rib off on the balancer pulley, you can see the one rib on the outside of the pulley in these pics. Probably been that way since my coolant elbow fiasco (which is still on the to do list to fix). Luckily, it didn't damage the belt or worse, shred it on the Power Tour.

Yeah Yeah... filter is getting swapped on the next oil change. If it makes it long enough. LOL!

Give me a recommendation that I don't have to go out of my way to find.

Purolator Pure One Premium filters seem to do well in testing. Mobil 1 EP filters arent horrible.

I was leaking the hydraulic fluid out of it. I noticed it when investigating a popping noise in the right front.

Got pics of how your dogbones are aligned? Noticed any difference? My Napa mount was a hair shorter than the stocker apparently because my passenger side is a little lower than the other side making my dog bones slightly crooked. I spaced out the motor mount a little, it still ain't right though IMO.

I've been thinking about just paying the $$$ and getting OEM GM lower motor mounts (I should of done this in the first place!).

to add another tip for getting the studs seated in the holes top and bottom-- when i changed mine, i ended up starting the nuts on the top threads, in an unequal rate, so as to change the position of the bottom two studs. (needed to angle them a bit to get them to line up)

Mine came out straight, they slid right in when I was finished. I can get a pic if needed. Did you replace the trans mount too? I haven't done it yet on mine yet. I haven't even looked at it, but if it is bad too and a new one raises that side, I can see where I might get what you're talking about.

Not really, just this one in the write up. Fluid all over one end of it that I assume was from the mount since it was smashed flat.

with a smashed mount, would this cause headers to hit something while reversing heavily? because when i reverse something hit something and make a god awful sound.

yeah, mobil1 filters and purolators come from the same place right? champion industries or somehting. i always thought fram was the best....until i found good sites saying otherwise...this is one of them...i switched to mobil 1 ep filter as stated above and found idle improved cold and hot...put an ep on my chysler van and the knocking sound it made with stock mopar filter (also a FRAM...GONE!!!) is not to be heard...its worth the extra 5 bucks every 3 months or so...get a better filter!!!

Good news, that was the one and only FRAM filter ever on the car. Been using AC Delco ever since.

Wow - thanks. I might attempt this later this winter. I should crawl under and see if I am leaking hydraulic fluid out.

Dumb question: is there one of these mounts on each side, or is it just a tranny mount on the other side?
