| Hey all. I have recently become the new owner of a 1996 2 door coupe. Love the car. Having an issue with the turn signals though....definitely in the switch on the steering column. I was trying to remove the switch today and got as far as getting the steering wheel off and then ran into a cir-clip that I could not get off!!! The clip itself appears to hold on the steel plate that locks the steering wheel from turning when the key is off. If I could figure out how to get the clip off I could continue twith the repair. Anybody out there have experience removing the turn signal switch on this model? |

| There is a description in the Haynes manual, I have it scanned and if you want will send it to you. A question to you, how did you get the air bag module off. I took out the 2 torx (97 gp) and the plastic cover is loose but no joy on the module, I have tried taking the column surround off and no real success there either. |
