Default Hi everybody - Please read me..im new here

Well Hello there Peoples. I am 34/m.
FIRST CAR :I drove a 1984 Chevette. 4 door 2 tone blue. Loved that car. Beat the hell out of it and it still loved me back ..sigh....
#2. 1984 Pontiac Firenza, Blue, 4 door.
#3. 1981 Fire engine red 4 door K car. With the red vinyl bench seats.
I beat the the hell outa all these cars.
Then at 20, my parents helped me get a 1987 Mazda 2dr 5 speed (First time with Manuel) turbo fully loaded, digital dash the works. Here is where I started my love affair of imports. ...
1986 Volkswagon Jetta 1.8l----this thing moved!! No problem flying by 1995 Celica gt. Smoked it.
Next, after the axle snapped, I got a beautiful red 1992 Toyota Celica 5 speed.
I was hit by a car pulling out from my left. mostly smashed corner and bit of side damage. So it was freshly painted red again...beautiful.

And here is where the last of my loves comes in..My 1997 Silver Acura CL 3.0 premium, automatic. Ive drove the car the most of all the cars, its been 5 - 6 years now and shes been fighting off a nasty transmision problem for a couple years now.
Now we must part ..sniff...In less than 2 days, my time thus far with Imports will end.

I have done what I thought I would never do.......bought a GM.
So I really need a lot of help to get up to speed on the new world that awaits me.

Cheers

Well you have come to the best place to get up to speed. If you have specific questions just post them up in the appropriate section and Im sure you will get lots of help.

Welcome to the community and what will hopefully become a love affair with a domestic car.
