I always wondered if those Thrasher Torque Arms were worth a damn. They seem like a good idea...

jack up the rear of the car to unload the rear springs and struts. Insert the spring blocker, bottom first and snap in. if they dont seem like they are tall enough to snap in, lower the jack a hair till they go in pretty easily.

i suggest you zip tie them once they are set in place, some people have had them pop out(tho this is very rare)

You probably won't see the WBS arms anymore (stock modified). Mike wants to have tubular ones. I was making them, and it was a *****fest everytime I made a set. Mostly because to keep it in the target price, I was putting in so many hours just to get the cores into shape it wasn't worth it once all the materials were purchased. It's hard to justify to the wife making peanuts that it was worth it!

I have a way to do the tubular, but just don't have time to screw with it. By next race season the tubular ones will be out though.

Also, an immense improvement can be had from changing the trailing arm geometry. So an adjustable trailing arm kit with a lowering bracket will be offered this year too.

I road test this stuff for a good long while, since my car is a DD. Since I made the original set of modifed control arms, I've racked up 60K+. Probably put 40K on the trailing arms at this point.

Sorry to hear the front control arms arent gonna happen, I know a handful of guys that have wanted them for some time. Ron if it helps you or Mike any there is a local chassis builder called Urbine Brothers, or UB Performance, they build tubular race car frames and complete chassis, full line of parts etc. It is a pretty big opperation, I was out there a few years ago interviewing and was impressed by everything they made. They have cnc mills and everything is in-house. They do make front tubular control arms for my Cutlass however

Well there is a nice little network going on up here in Chicago with about 1/2 dozen of us helping each other out. Between us we plan on doing a little manufacturing soon. I have a new koni coilover setup in the works with camber plates and all too!
