I know where there's a PowrTuner for $280 with all cables, software, DHP forum access
only thing missing is the KeySpan
They're definitely a lot cheaper these days. I picked mine up for $200 (minus keyspan).

USB->serial adapter. It's the only one that's guaranteed to work with the PT if you don't have a serial port.

I bought a cheapie one from Best Buy when I got mine....and it's worked flawlessly for me. I didn't have time to wait for a keyspan.

do you have any other cars that you would like to tune. Like as in one without a 3800. If so I would go with the HPT because it can tune way more cars. The PT can only tune 3800 powered cars but costs quite a bit less.

Well i dont think many people have owned both ..so may be hard to say...i think hpt would be a better choice..I have hpt though...but then again maybe not if the others are that cheap now

This is just my opinion.....

I have the PT, and I love it. It gets the job done, and since I only mess with the 3800 it's worked just fine with me. Now, that said if I had it to do over I would probably still have gone with the PT. HPT is a really great setup, but the credits thing sucks....on the good side, you still have great support, and an extremely wide range of vehichles.

I'll probably end up getting HPT in the future for my vehichles so that I can tune them a little better....plus I'll be able to tweak the G6 a little.
