Hello hello, 97 GP GT Nat. aspired.,

About a week ago, i replaced my driverside CV axle with the pre asseblemed axle setup from Advance Auto. I took it for a drive that late night and it was beautiful. THEN, maybe a day later, this horrible screeching sound starts coming from the driverside wheel area (it's become pretty dang loud). After researching, i'm leaning towards a new hub bearing...But, my buddy and i breifly checked out the hub bearing during the CV axle replacement and it felt smooth. I'm going to try and take the wheel off tomorrow and check it out b/c i can't even afford a 70 dollar hub/wheel bearing right now....

Could the new CV axle caused issues?

I would def. Appreciate any feedback and suggestions. I am just lost right now.
