the chinese writing on the box scares me, typically they are very very low quality generic parts

I agree with Arch on this one. I would avoid it personally. Go with R1 directly or something else, even BrakeLabs is pretty good and they are out of the US and dont have Japanese labeled products.

I strongly suggest going with these!

I'll never see the appeal to spending as little money as possible on a system that saves your life daily.

eBay Motors: Pontiac Grand Prix 97 98 99 00 01 02 03 D/S Rotors+Pads (item 260255404351 end time Jul-01-08 20:30:25 PDT)
I just called these ppl up. I talked to a guy and he told me that the rotors are actually very good. They make them in a machine shop in Cali, and the pads are made in Canada. I told him "$155"...Thats kinda cheap, a little to good to be true. He assured me that they are all good quality parts.

I was also looking at the same exact pads on ebay, which would have come out to about $100 for the front and the rear.

Thanks for the link. The R1 rotors where my first choice, but for the whole setup (f+r rotors, and f+r ceramic pads) would have come out to about $300.

R1 Rotors f+r + shipping = $170
Ceramic pads + shipping = $110

Thats about right. Im now going to call up break labs and order over the phone. The guy told me over the phone is processed much faster.

Thanks for the info!

I got the R1 Concepts E-Line (diamond slotted and cross drilled) and semi-meta pads, and noticed a huge diff with just a change in only the rear rotors and pads, as I didn't have time to do the fronts tonight.

Yeah I was shocked as well at how fast the order process was completing it over the phone as compared to going through eBay. As R1 had posted on here, a lot companies use their rotors and some just put them in different boxes. BrakeLabs does not really hide anything in their choice of Rotors. And I cant complain with their choice either. And the Posi Quiet pads simply rock. The ceramics to this date have left virtually no detectable dust what so ever.

Show us some pics once you get those puppies installed

You will REALLY notice a difference once you slap on the fronts. The rear brakes generally only account for 20-25% of your braking. But I will tell ya, you will hate the brake dust in the beginning with the semi-metallic pads. I will never go with semi'metallics again

i'm running rotors and pads from irotors.com and they seem to be holding up really well, i got them for the imp, they were 259 or so shipped i think, all 4 corners, with ceramic pads and drilled/slotted rotors.
