same here, drilling is for looks, and causes a stress riser unless chamfered. For things that involve saving my life and my families lives I buy from people I can trust, never would I buy a brake part off ebay, if something happens your screwed as they don't have liability insurance like a legitimate company does

What about a company that is just on ebay to help promote sales?...like summitracing...would you never buy a brake part from summit on ebay? just because it's on ebay doesent mean it's crap...I have a set of drilled and slotted rotors from rotorworks on ebay and they have been no trouble at all...i belive r1concepts (the company in that thread i mentioned) has his own store but is also on ebay....and many people on here have his rotors on there cars right now....And i'm positive pfyc doesent make those rotors...they may even get them from some of the same ppl off of ebay...not trying to start anything...just giving a different side of the story is all....

i'll eventually be getting a set of the EBC 3GD Sport Rotors, slotted and dippled instead of drilled. Then a set of yellow stuff pads. EBC Brakes - Home of the worlds largest range of brake products - Automotive Brake Rotor Information

Yes, slots serve a purpose, but unless you know your getting a good quality set, stay away from drilled. Dimpled rotors are fine to get. I have both, drilled, and slotted on my car front and rear. I love them, and haven't had any problems with them. ![]() ~F~

You know you are probably right about the basement thing....but just from my personal experience i have never seen a brake part actually fail...as far as a rotor goes...i'm not saying it is not impossible...Generally these basement company's are using the same equipment to drill and slot these rotors as powerslot ect... are.....I guess in the end you get what you pay for lol |

You can buy slotted and dimpled rotors from EBC Rotors is the name of the company. Googled EBC and hit these two places: EBC Brakes - Home of the worlds largest range of brake products and AJ-USA.com - Direct Source Outlet for Performance Parts and Accessories ^ this is the place where my friend bough his through for his GTP. Yes, they have stock, and he runs F-Body front brakes, so he ordered those for his application. To extend the life of any "performance" rotor, be sure to correctly season them as soon as they are installed before you have the chance to do some really hard braking on them. That will extend their life like you wouldn't believe. ~F~

EBC is the maker of them, and normally you, the customer, cannot buy direct from them, thats why I gave you the other link: AJ-USA.com - Direct Source Outlet for Performance Parts and Accessories Buy from them, they are the seller from the supplier. ~F~
