Seriously though, I guess I have some bad and possibly wrong ideas of Alaska because I just dont see a Grand Prix fairing too well there. 'Course, I know the souther part isnt iced over and snow all year round so who knows.

It snows, and its freaking cold, but the snow melts from the streets quick since theres only 3 main highways in the state... so the roads are almost always nice. The only problems Ive had so far are that the power steering takes a while to start working every time I get in, and a few minor electrical issues...

3 main highways. WOW! That just seems so, I dunno, out of place with my perception of Alaska. I guess I need to go back and spend some time there.

I hear ya on the Power Steering too, mine is like that when it is really cold here. I waiting for a really really low mileage one to show up for sale and I'll probably buy it and play with it to see if anything can be done to beef it up.

What kind of electrical issues? When I had the ZZP Stage 2 Voltage booster on, my D.I.C (no jokes please) would flash on and off until the car warmed up. I have taken it out with the intention of reducing it to a Stage 1 and see if that helps. But in essence I think that the alternator was probably putting out too much when things were cold.
