Default Amsoil comming soon!

Will be an official dealer of Amsoil Synthetic Lubricants within the next week or so. I'll be upfront with this. It's expensive and good. But there's a catch. Even though it is expensive it can save you a lot of money v.s. the ''other'' brands that cost a lot less. Check it out.

SERVICE LIFE
AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-30 Motor Oil is recommended for extended drain intervals in mechanically sound gasoline fueled vehicles as follows:

• Normal Service(3) – Up to 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

• Severe Service(4) – Up to 15,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

• Replace AMSOIL Ea full-flow oil filter at the time of oil change up to 25,000 miles or one year service life, whichever comes first (other brands at standard OEM* intervals).

Yup you will need 40 quarts of conventional oil for 25,000 miles if using the recomended 3000 mile drain intervals. And at 2.50 a quart and 6.00 per filter that would be 148.00 for 8 oil changes.

Now lets take a look at Amsoil. For 25,000 miles it will only cost you 58.80 And that includes an amsoil oil filter.

That means if you only drive 25,000 miles a year you can save almost 90.00 a year by switching.

Why not switch to a better and much higher quality motor oil. And best of all save yourself some money while doing so? Almost to good to be true if you ask me.

I can get anything Amsoil offers. If any one needs prices of anything I have a full price list of everything they offer. I will get you the best GPF price possible. Post up your zip code and what you want. Or if you have any questions I will be more than happy to answer them. But remember no matter what the price is that I can get you the savings is in the product it self!

Do you recommend to simply run the oil to 25k miles and change it? Or do you recommend to do an oil analysis every 5k or so? Just curious as I have been thinking about going this route.

That is all a matter of preference in my opinion. My opinion is that is surley wouldnt hurt. For the sample kit through Oil analyzers INC it will run right at 30.00 wich includes 2-way shipping.

Now if it was me. I would do an analysis probably at around 15000 miles. Now if all is good i would not do one on the next oil change.

It is ok to mix Amsoil and the ''other'' brands together. No harm done there. But it will shorten the performance and longevity of the amsoil by a small amount. On the first oil change It will be near impossible to get all of the ''other'' brand out of the engine. It's just not praticle. But thats the only reason I recomend a Oil analysis the first go around. It's not the oil that will be the problem. Thats good to 25,000. It's whats already in your engine that i would be concerned about.

Amsoil is the shiznit yo!

One of the locals here, and a good friend bought in on that too, and can go shopping at the local distribution plant. I guess its a members only, buy at wholesale, sort of membership for him.

Ive never personally been to the Wichita facility, but there is another dealer here that goes there every month and spends close to $10k and hauls it back. He moves some serious inventory.

Oh ya for sure. Cheaper buying into the deal than buying it retail off the shelf.
