Default left side wiper arm

anyone have a non-stripped left side wiper arm , spuiter nozzle and hose ? its way to cold and now gettin way to much snow to go to the bone yard to grab one. one of these days i'll learn the wipers are not meant for snow removal.....

it's not worth getting a used one.

i know the new ones are 30-35, but once they're on a stud, the material is stretched, making it likely that it will strip easier if you put it on your car. (the brand new ones do not have any splines, they're press formed when you tighten the nut)

didnt think of ed , i figure shipping would be more than a used arm. the way toasty explains in sounds better off to just go new , didnt realize they were that cheap. toasty from where ? stealership ?


found it , who'd thunk it....... autozone for $21.99 , gonna grab it on my way home , thanks toasty...................

didnt think about autozone... when i needed one they didnt have the one i needed or didnt carry them at all or somethin

for a part time fix, I used a lock washer between the bolt and the arm and it seemed to hold fine untill I could get a replacement

just my luck , they tell me its special order , so i go down there to order and pay for it, then they tell me sorry , its not available..... i guess i'll call the stealership.

yeah i did the lock washer already about three months ago, it worked for awhile till i tried to use wipers as snowbrushs.

yeah, they should have been a keyed shaft and arm setup, then we wouldnt have these problems

The should have made the arms out of something other than crappy cast aluminum.
