How many are actually interested in the temp monitoring port?

Okay, moving along. Anyone else? With the added innovations I am going to need more time to make something else up and get some more prices.

I tell you what, they may not be posting in here, but I would bet that others would snag one if the price is good and you have a drain plug, temp. port, and extra cooling all in a stock size pan.

Anyway, what you are envisioning sounds like something the community needs and the after market should have been smart enough to already come up with. So you go right ahead and show them how its done. Like I mentioned, if the price is good, I'll probably pick one up myself.

I think this is a great idea. I don't trust external coolers much. And the aluminum pans are way too expensive and if you hit anything, they'll crack instead of bend like a stamped steel pan will. Welding tubes to the outside is much cheaper, easier, and I bet will still net good results. Part of the reason this is appealing is that it hopefully will be reasonable priced. Making a new deep pan, or trying to modify a stock pan to make it deeper will cost a lot. I personally don't need the hole for the temp sender, but having it as an option at least will attract more buyers I bet.

I agree with everything you said Going Too Phast. There will be 3 stages for people too choose from should go something like this:

"Stage 1"
Drain Plug option

"Stage 2"
Drain Plug and cooling tubes

"Stage 3"
Drain Plug, Cooling Tubes, and temp sensor port.

It won't be too much of a problem because each one will be custom made. I am making sure I get exact pricing for everything so that I don't end up taking a loss on it. Something should be up soon.

Things might be moving along a little faster ended up having a fuel pump give me trouble over the weekend. Then the Pontiac Montana that needed head gaskets. Don't even want to go there.
