I found a switch that works perfect for keeping the headlights off until the car is started. If you want to keep the functionallity of the auto headlights, this is a must.
I have 0 of these switches and will send you a complete kit for shipped for $20.00 (keep in mind that you can find the switches for a little under 20 bucks (retail is about 35.00) every once and a while, but I also include all connectors needed to get it wired in, and that would still cost you 5-7 bucks). I will keep this page updated so you know how many I have left. If you want one, just shoot me a PM
Parts needed (included in the kit)
1 DEI528T delay pulse timer switch.

2 14-16 guage crimp barrel connectors
2 14-16 guage crimp T-splitters
1 14-16 guage crimp terminal lug
For the record, I have the WBodyStore HID lights For the 97-00 Grand Prix use the following: (This has not been tested)
Connect as shown and cut the blue loop and insulate.
Also disconnect the DRL Module and move the alarm flash from the headlights to the side markers (theft deterent relay....cut the yellow wire and tap it into the brown wire at the headlight switch).
For the 01-03 use the following: (tested and works great)
connect as shown and disconnect the DRL Module.
Headlight Switch Connector
1. Cut the Dark Green wire about 1" from the Headlight Switch Connector (Headlamp Off Signal)
2. Connect the yellow wire from the Time Delay to the Dark Green wire (Pin K) on the Headlight Switch Connector side
3. Connect the orange wire to the other Dark Green wire opposite the Headlight Switch Connector
4. Tap in the red wire on the Time Delay to the orange wire (Pin O) on the Headlight Switch Connector (Battery main)
DRL Module Input
1. Tap in the Black w/white stripe wire on the Time Delay to the white wire (C2 Pin B)(headlamp control relay)
Time Delay
1. Tie the black wire to ground on the chassis
2. Brown wire is not used
3. Cut the blue wire and insulate with electric tape.
4. Adjust delay on the side of the timer to your preference (5 sec is average)
Headlights will not flash for the alarm acknowledge, but parking lights will
Headlights will be delayed until the car starts
In the event of switch failure, you can bypass the time delay switch with the headlight switch.
For the 04+ im working on it......
I am testing out the HID harness as well to see if that fixes the issue with one or both lights not always coming on and will post up here in a week or so if all goes well. You can get the harness here for $15.00 shipped (and its overnight)
11 days now on the harness and no more issues with one light off on startup...has worked 100% every time the lights come on so it looks like this is the fix... Link is Here
