Default 1.7 Yella Terra/ZZP aluminum Rockers

I have a near new set of 1.7:1 full roller rockers that didn't work on my car as well as I had hoped. (No power gain with XP cam)

These are the Aluminum Roller rocker package on ZZP's site. Include Rockers, Pushrods and Pedistals, reusable rocker bolts, all instructions.

ZZ Performance

They have 4 Dyno pulls on them and about 20 miles of driving.

350 shipped, resonable offers considered

Did you not see ANY power gains with these and the XP, or just not enough?

looking at the dyno graphs, it looks like I probably had valve float at the top end. It gets very wavy and flat with both the stock rockers and the 1.7's. I am going to work with the stock rockers for now, and see if 130's get rid of that.

For now the 1.7's are for sale.

Been offered $300 shipped so far. Probably sell them to him, if I don't get another offer tonight.

What springs did you use with the 1.7's?

105's with the stock rockers and the 1.7's.

It looks like I had valve float with the stock rockers, and about the same with the 1.7's. By the end of the night I gained 16 ft lbs of torque corrected from pulley changes, and lots of power under the curve, but as soon as it hit 5900-6000 rpm, the power would level off/drop a bit, and start jumping up and down about 10 hp. You could feel when it hit this point while running it up on the dyno.

I am ordering some PAC 130's (original maker of comp cams beehive springs before they went to a mexican supplier and all the problems started). Hopefully the top end is better with them. Paul Jerkatis(spelling) recommends the 130s with the XP cam to begin with.

If the curve stayed nice and smooth I might have gained 10-15 HP to go with the torque gain from the pulley changes.

The 1.7's showed lower power through out the pull on back to back runs with the same pulley/timing/fueling.
