He said he has a stock front mani, and a ported rear. I'd assume he's wanting to replace the front since he can't replace his rear (CT turbo kit) and hasn't done anything to the front yet.

i have the front and rear on a z7 turbo kit it does help with spool

Definitely ditch the front mani, and get a plog. I am now sure if it is still this way but they used to make a normal plog with straight primaries and a turbo plog with angled primaries. Make sure you get one with the angled primaries if you get a used one.

just make sure for option 1 you choose the 304 stainless
