ok first off let me start by naming all my mods to make it easier.....zzp z7 turbo kit,zzp stage 2 heads, comp cam xtreme cam,8.0:1 comp pistons, and a intense racing custom pcm.....

now with all that said....i broke in the engine last week soo i decided to change the oil and have some FUN!! lol

soo i was driving down the highway goin about 50 and decided to push the gas down about halfway maybe a lil more.....and it downshifted, u can hear the turbo kick in but IT WASNT GOING AS FAST AS IT SHOULD OF BEEN!! .....

and on top of that sometimes the turbo will make this loud POP noise and it will slow itself down


WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!! PLEASE LET ME KNOW, DO I NEED A NEW TURBO????

ok. calm down. I would check all your hoses for boost leaks, all the clamps are tight tight...

I know turbo's pop....all the unburned fuel in the exhaust will ignite from the heat.

how many PSI does it slow down when it pops?
