Pontiac Grand Prix Forums : Grandprix

I have a steering wheel control insert that isn't currently connected on my 98 GTP. The problem i have is i cannot plug the wires into the back of the control piece (the wires coming from inside the steering wheel are just sitting loose, and i can't get to the back of it to plug it in, a wrap-around rubber piece on the steering wheel prevents this). Has anyone done this before or now how i could connect this? I have spent hours trying to get it plugged in!
