I have never run speaker wire to the doors. What is the best way to do this to get it though the doors? Can i just cut one end and tie the new wires on and pull it through ?? thanks.

either that or take a wire coat hanger,(straightened) bend over one end- leave enough of a flat loop to put the wire in later, and secure loop w/ electrical tape. push this end through the flex peice, into the door. slip the wires through the flat loop at the end, and pull it back through. --- if needed/desired you can tape the wires to the hanger, but most times this is not needed

Thanks...only reason I am doing this is because I got my headunit in the glove box. Now my right front speaker isn't working. I have ruled out the AMP,RCA's and Headunit as the problem. It's losing connection somewhere. Right now the way i have it is, I have at the harness the front speaker wires hook into the rear speaker wires and i power the front speakers using the rear speaker wires to the AMP because the AMP is in the trunk. Because they where more accessible at the time. If that makes any sense.

woah... hmmm kinda not really heh.... perhaps a diagram would help out... or are you saying youre powering the front speakers from the factory amp in the rear, by using the rear speaker wires?

I am powering the front speakers, using the rear wires through a after market amp. Its been working like this up until now. So it goes like this

Headunit RCAs>AMP>AMP Power is spliced into speak speaker wire> at the harness the rear speaker wires are splices into the front speaker power wires>thus powering the front speakers.

(I have no rear speakers)

get some new power wire, that speaker wire can't handle the current the amp will draw, you have a fire waiting to happen there

the POWER for the amp is going through speaker wire, or just the speaker signal?

Just the speaker signal. The AMP power wire is a 2awg LOL. and a 4awg ground. I was driving and all of a sudden my right speaker started worked o well, i'm not complaining.
