I took everything apart with the help of my little brother, little did I know where he put all the clips/bolts so I'm currently in the process of figuring that out until next weekend... so I've been driving around like this-    Had to do little cutting to this bracket to get the new speakers to fit in the front, I had to cut the backplate of this bracket out...  |

| SE Level Member | Re: how to remove rear speakers ?? Good news - the above PDF helped me along, but the process is indeed different for the newer models. In the 04-08s you've got to deal with the C post trim and a few more screws securing the seatback. I took some pictures with my phone during my install, and I'd be happy to do a writeup if there's any interest. |
