iTrader: (0) ![]() | I'm not a pro, but with a 10" and an amp you should be just fine with the stock set-up. I've had two 12's with 2 amps on the stock wiring and I was fine. I did have a little headlight dimming but thats about it |

iTrader: (0) ![]() | I have 2 square 10's and a fairly large amp and I have no problems. I did do the alternator rewire and it helped some on the lights and the amp is getting more of a consistant voltage.

iTrader: (3) ![]() | really a deck install should at the most take about 30 minutes, even for a first timer. As far as electrical issues, there should be none, maybe slight headlight dimming but you will be alright. if you are worried about dimming, then do the big three. which is upgrading the wire size, from alt to batt, batt to chassis ground, batt to engine block ground.

iTrader: (0) ![]() | Dude, your setup should run just fine. You should notice a LITTLE headlight dimming (probly just enough that YOU'LL notice and it'll end up pissing you off... did with me), In addition to upping the wire size, I'd recommend getting a capacitor or mounting a second battery in the trunk... depending on your needs/preferences. These Electrical upgrades/add-ons will help reduce the immediate drain to your alternator/battery. I personally have 1600 watts run off my stock electrical and with my cap I haven't noticed any sort of power drain of any kind, including headlight/domelight dimming. Good luck with your install. |

iTrader: (0) ![]() | I have a 500 rms amp running 2 12's on the stock battery and alternator and 5000k HID's and I have no dimming/flickering. Gonna upgrade to an Optima Yellow Top soon so I can hopefully get a nice voltage boost. I have done the alternator rewire too. |

iTrader: (0) ![]() | Joe, I ran 3 Punch 15's, a 600 watt, and a 800 watt amp on mine with no problems. You'll be fine. When you go to install your head unit, watch out for the clips on the back of the dash trim. some will pop off and fall in your dash. But, don't get discouraged because most likely they'll faal to the bottom. Pop off the cover under the dash and they'll be there. Hit on the plastic under the steering column and if any are sitting in that area, they'll go ahead and drop also.
