Default A few questions

alright i am wanting to hook up a amp/sub to my stock head unit i have all the power ran, but was just curious on how to install the inline converter so that i can have the rca cables, do i have to bypass the stock amp ? or where is the easiest spot to tap into it ? i forgot to say that i have a 98 gtp

You shouldn't hafta bypass anything... whatever inline converter you get should have a wiring diagram, but in case you can't understand it.... most GM speaker wire coloring includes purple, purple with a stripe, white, white with a stripe, green, green with a stripe, and gray, then gray with a stripe. Obviously the colored pairs are positive and negative for each speaker. The install from start to finish is actually really really easy... bu not as easy as buying a better aftermarket deck and installing that instead, hehe =)

Tap into the rear amp up under the deck if all you want is to run a sub and amp. its very easy to get to and all you would need is a 6' set of rcas.
