Was at a gas station one time when a young kid in a Mazda MP3 pulled up, and kept coming in and out buying different fluids. I noticed he was getting flustrated and went over to see what I could do. He told me that his car is overheating, his steering is out, his battery light is on, and it's running like crap. He was trying to buy a bunch of fluids thinking that would solve his minor issue....I looked down and he had no belts on his car!!! I couldn't help but laugh. The gas station we were at wanted to charge like 200 bucks plus belts to install them...I made 50 bucks!

when I was 17 and worked at a full service fuel station. myself and another employee were trying to close when a lady came in and bought a qt of oil, she came back in a couple of minutes later and bought another, and another, and another. I asked her what she was doing and she replied. "My husband told me to check the oil, and its really low. All this oil and its no where near filling up that little hole."
We pushed her car onto a rack and drained almost three gallons of oil.
Then we showed her how to check her oil.
