Happend to me 2 months ago. I filled 'er up, and the next morning, my gas door was open and the cap was off. They got about 3 gallons. Cops finger printed it for me and couldn't get anything. So, we sat a 5 gal gas jug on the porch with water in it last night. They are always stealing stuff from us.

sorry to here that GTP =[ next time lay down in your trunk "you can release the trunk from inside " at night with the gas door open and a few gas cans around the GTP and pop out and kick the *$&# outta them =] "my words of wisedom haha. man would that be funny and hysterical to catch some1 haha

should filled the jug with piss instead. i always had locking cap on my car cause i get the feeling someone might put something inside the tank.

Is the GP gas tank different than the Imp gas tank? The Imp tank has a mesh to prevent a tube going in for siphoning. Only way to get gas out of my tank is through factory hoses or drill a hole.

As for locking gas caps, they don't do much good to stop someone determined to get your gas. All I would own one for is to keep people from sticking something into my tank, not getting something out.

they just push the mesh into the tank, almost all newer cars have an anti siphon mechanism that is useless except to keep the owner from doing it
