| Administrator | Im hoping (well planning) on a How To and troubleshooting section. We would love to have that information on doing that work. However, we really want to try and set up some sort of standard guidelines on how the How To's and such are to be done. So for now, if you would just send it to me. The reason I say this is that we want the How To's to be well documented, easy to follow and plentiful pictures where possible. We arent saying that anyones attempt to do a how to wont be welcomed, we just want to make sure they are all on some sort of level playing field and in multiple formats, not just a webpage. This is more or less one of my own pet peeves, but I have spent a great deal of time visiting web pages with How To's and so forth and converting them to easy to follow documents and saving them in different formats (i.e., MS Word, PDF, etc) so that anyone can save them. You ever tried to work on a car following a how to that is only in html format? Not fun. I like Wikis and all that, but I still like being able to save stuff to a thumb drive, hard drive or whatever so that at any time I can send it to someone that needs the information instead of point them to a web link.

| Administrator | Oh Lord, we have talked about that a little in fact. We hope it works well. If you find it doesn't, let us know.

| Community Vendor | Hey, thanks for the invite Reptile. Place looks great. I'm JB on the "the other board" but no two letter usernames here I guess. No biggie, I like the Abrasive tag I've been labeled with. Hey anyway, just thought I'd offer if your in need of mods. I saw you had a "Glass and Seals" section. I've been in the glass business for 15 years and am Master Certified with the National Glass Association. Specifically autoglass, but I've done it all from that to residential and commercial also. I work for a nationwide glass company and have been with them the entire 15 years. Where do I submit a resume? LOL! |
