i have a 2004 gtp. i have been having problems with reverse for some time. finally my car just quit moving you could shut it off and start it and go 200 feet then the tranny would wind out and nothing. you could continue to do this as long as you could take it. i took it to a transmission shop where the guy said he replaced 2 cluth packs and a seal or gasket of some sort. (sorry for lack of car knowledge) Seemed to work good for a bit but now shifts hard into reverse when cold and into drive hard when cold. Seems to shift smoothly for the most part but occasionally there is a hard shift. also from reverse to drive and then the gas i feel a vibration from underneath for a few seconds. i have a feeling he is going to be not willing to tear into it again considering it takes forever.. also my hot transmission fluid light came on. any ideas what to have him do or some things to throw at him so i somewhat know what im talking about so i dont get screwed over some more if i have already. 160,000 miles as well.
