So I have had my GTP for 7 years now and I finally broke down and invested in a new tranny. Since I have 235000KM on the chassis, I fuigured it was time LOL....

I went with a full rebuild, and man what a difference. I put in

the 2500 stall,
shift kit,
race clutches (RED),
4340 input shaft,
New pump shaft,
high pressure solonoids,
valve bodys,
STG II axles,
OUtput shaft,
flex plate.
Hardend 4th gear of course....

Man it is like driving a totally different beast now.... Solid as hell shifts, down shifts are crazy torque.... I highly recommend that this combo be done if you are not going TURBO... It is very solid.
