Default How packed?

Out of curiosity...

How jam-packed are the 5.3's in these cars?

I was just looking at my 3.8 SC and was thinking.. "Dang, this thing is tight." As I'm trying to break my elbow and forearm mid way just so that I could reach behind to get at my Power Steering Reservoir. Turns out, breaking your elbow, shoulder, forearm still won't get you the right angle to get at the darn thing without removing the coolant tank...

The point: If the 3.8 is SO tight in there how tight must the 5.3 be????

I can get to it just fine without removing the reservoir. Just reach around the heater hoses.

So tight you have to drop the engine just to replace a broken tensioner.
