Default Who's Done Homemade Fuel Rails (With an fittings)

I know that there was a thread on clupgp about who has made their own modd'd fuel rails. I’ve noticed that there seem to be more fabricators over here and wanted to see if/what the creations over here look like & to see what ideas are floating around.
I’m getting ready to make my own set and was hoping/looking for more pics of different setups before I start making mine, I’ve got a pretty good idea of what I’m going to do for the cross over line, but I’m not sure exactly what to do with the feed & return lines (mainly concerned about the angles & the best way to route those lines.
I’m only interested in setups that use an fittings & braided line. I’d eventually like to replace all the nylon line with 6an braided line
For anyone that’s done this I’d love to see a list of what you used, I don’t want to order too much line or too many fittings (not cheap).

I had bought a L32 fuel rail a few years ago in an attempt to make some, but my laziness keeps me from taking on the task.

It is on my project list actually. Ive been collecting part numbers and so forth and I saved the information from cgp as well.

If you use stock rails, I think the only difference would be that you would need -AN quick connect fittings. If you use Aftermarket rails, they typically already have the -AN fittings on them so you could buy the ss braided line and hose fittings and hook up.

What I want to do, however is go all the way back to the tank. So my cost is going to be in the ss braided line. I want to plug directly to the fuel pump. If Im going to do it, Im going to go all out and do it.

If I sticky this thread, are their people here that could help put together all the parts needed? Part numbers, where to buy, costs, all that good stuff? If so, if we could get everyone to pitch in I'll sticky this and we can come up with all that would be needed to do this with stock rails, aftermarket rails, all the way to the tank and pump and also for those that just want to get rid of the plastic lines in the engine bay.

What do you all say, willing to help out and get this done?

My brother has a set up on his GTX that the previous owner made. I personally don't like it, but will try to see if I have any Pics.

Yeah, thats good to know. So we may have to list those up.

As for the GTX, Ive seen that set up before I believe and Im not terribly crazy about it myself. I think those are just plain compression fittings and while it may work, I would be concerned about using them in an automotive application with all the vibrations and so forth.

I ordered a set of PRJs and they were pricy. I'd like to see more home made sets. DIY would save a bit of cash!
