After watching you torque the rocker bolts, they very well could be loose.

ok, back on topic here. Guys thanks for the opinions and keep them coming.

Although this thread wasn't about anything but the XP and VS, since I had the S1X, I'll add my take. S1X had better low to mid range power, but the XP is definitely better on the top end. This is probably common knowledge and I'm confrming it as such.

Hopefully I can figure a way to get some exhaust vids with mine with the new exhaust. It sounds pretty mean.

I gave it away to offset the labor to demod. It's a long story. Remind me and I'll tell you the whole painful thing at the next mod day or Branson.

I would like to get a sound byte of my XP with TOG's, GMPP catback with no resonator, before the XP goes away.

It probably sounds something like this, except I have a larger resonator on mine:
http://www.davetech.net/vids/xp-togs-gmpp.wmv

I had an 850rpm idle IIRC.

Yep Dave that's pretty darn close. My idle is only 785 for the winter and will probably go back down to 750 in the summer.

Mine may be a little deeper, but I have some really big single-walled slash cut tips. I didin't realize or belive this, but two exhaust shops (old guys) in my area said that tips will indeed change the sound and I could definitely tell the difference. Of course, I drive with the radio off ALL of the time so I can listen for and odd noises that may creap up. OCD.
