this is what I am planning on doing as well. I ordered a boost gauge and Oil Pressure from Prosport I can not wait to get them in I ordered the Pillar 3 Gauge pod too. I am not sure what gauges I want to put in to the spot that you have your AF and Trans temp I was thinking Transtemp and Something eles. What is good about monitoring your AF

If you are removing the OBD2 plug when the gauge is active, you run a major risk of messing up the unit.

Make sure you have the power setup and connected to the additional wiring plug provided. And then you have to also REMOVE the red cap from the back of the unit. I left mine on and I got all kinds of security warnings, until I removed it and it functioned normally.

Once you start your car, it will take approx 5-10 seconds for the Gauge to power up, and you will see the two LEDs light up and the prompt on the main screen and then you be taken into the gauge and you can configure it from there.

As for the Analog stuff, there is a bunch of programming you have to do for it and you need to purchase one of Aeroforce's sender units to complete the setup. I personally just a run a seperate OP gauge along with my Boost gauge, Tranny Temp Gauge and my A/F Gauge ontop of the Aeroforce.

I hope that helps.

Did you ever get the wideband sensor installed or does the gauge still go nuts when the car is running?

EDIT: Looks like it's working..I can't tell, but does that AF gauge show any real numbers or is it just a relative range?

Well the A/F LED gauge is basically useless. But the Aeroforce's A/F Millivolts reader is pretty darn spot on. It mirrors the LEDs pretty well, but gives a better number value to what the LEDs try to show. And no I have not gotten a WB A/F yet, though I am diggin' Rick Cobalt WB A/F setup

What I mean is that
Why would the AF be wrong in the first place. What would I have to do to my car Mod wise to Require one of these. What add ons would affect the AF. I figure Cam Injectors things like that. I know that you do not want it to be to rich or too lean.

A/f mV of what? Your Narrowband as in O2's mV verus a WB that reads in a ratio?

I guess *shrugs* I am just going by what the Aeroforce tells me in O2 Millivolts. It is basically a digital read out of the LEDs. It puts a physical number to the nice flashy LEDs

Did I explain that any better??

No, because O2's read in mV, as in say, 960mv may or may not be close to 10.6:1 AFR (example only since accuracy of a NB is questionable, varies from sensor to sensor and changes with temp and age). But if you have no WB hooked up to your A/F gauge how do you know what the air fuel ratio is. Granted the Aeroforce will be accurately reading your narrowband via the PCM. Or are you talking about Commanded AFR, which, unless your tune is spot on, may or may not be the same as your AFR that your A/F gauge with a WB attached would read.

I'm just trying to understand how you hooked up an A/F gauge to your Aeroforce and have it displaying an AFR, unless it is a guessing AFR. Thought maybe you have a shortcut or secret, that you should share.
