Default 8 Rib pulleys

I know I read somewhere on another forum about what pulleys to use as a replacement.

Does anyone have any information that I can add to the HOW TO section about stock pulleys and 8 rib pulleys, plastic or metal, and possibly what type of car it goes on....such as

Idler pulley 8 rib......98-02/Corvette/v-8/idler pulley

or

Metal idler pulley....97-03/Regal/3.8L

These are only examples and not actual pulley info.

This was something posted on our boards by BigG. Not sure if it is the exact information you need, but I thought I would add it to this section here.

Yeah 8 ribs look sick, when you pop open the hood it looks so aggressive. There is a member that has it done to his car, but I haven't seen him post lately.

Thats some good info, but looking for more info about converting plastic pulleys to metal pulleys and keeping the same size....Once we get some good info here, I will do up a how to with the following:

6 rib

8 rib

Stock sizes
Overdrive
Underdrive
