ive been talkin on here about my exhaust im getin sent to me,its a 3in all the way through including the DP plus magnaflo cat and mufflers,iv e got the K_N CAI and overkill pcm with NGK irridiums and performance wires,i will probably be putting on a 3.5 pulley soon too,is the 3 in too big and could it have a negative effect on my car at all? ive heard some people on here say its unecessary but i already ordered it! BTW its a 05 comp g,any info is helpful

unless its headers its not going to make any type of performance increase, itll just be loud. which makes it feel faster for some stupid reason, or not.

for the pulley drop youre going to want something to do with headers/ported manis/p-log.

Well, I would say that since your exhaust is getting you a larger downpipe, I assume a high flow cat and getting rid of your u-bend, it should provide a small increase in power. In most instances, with the mods you will have, you should be able to run a 3.4" pulley safely.

The important thing of course, as I'm sure everyone else will tell you, is make sure you get someone to scan your car when you decide to swap the pulley.

I ran a 3.4" pulley with a CAI, Exhaust, PCM, Plugs and a ported TB.

the DP will increase power on topend a bit...and with the free flowing exhaust..you will have less backpressure.

I would seal the deal with some headers......

headers shouldn't effect warranty (not sure but Magnuson Moss should still apply to after market warranties)

i'd think so, also, but wouldnt guarantee it. ... perhaps getting ported stock mani's would be an option... they look the same from the outside!

thogh if you do have the warranty, i'd make sure you were running all of the o2 sensors you should be... no simulators.

The trick with the GM Warranty voiding thing.....
It only voids the warranty, if they can prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that headers caused the failure. If that happens.

Like say....If your water pump goes out...they have to prove that the headers did it....
That's how we deal with things in our shop.
