Its a more pricey and time consuming project then some people can imagine. I just hope the said vehicle is not a DD.
Well my vehicle is a pretty fast dd. With tuning (wich will have to be present anyway) it can def be done.

Thats what I said...mid-low 13's and im good.....now look at me. If I had to do it all over again...I may have just chosen the turbo route. It would have been more efficent no doubt. But i love my S/C setup

Yea your car is sick, you have a vid racing an 03 cobra and winning dont you?

And i say lets hope its not a DD because it will have serious down time in the shop and he will have to find an alternate method of transportation. Unfortunately a turbo and the sporting requirements cant be slapped on in a day.

Yeah thats mine. And thaks for the compliments. I've put a lot of time and money into it. So it better be pretty sick lol. Yeah thats very true about the down time part. Although I had a tranny go out on me and my only car had to be down for about a week and a half I was able to manage with the help of my roomate and a cupple of other friends but like you said would have been way easier if i had another car. Just to let you (original poster) Know kind of what your getting into money wise. With all the odds and ends along with the transmission and engine and car mods, Not including the price of the car I can say i have around 10,500 ''invested''....(not quite sure why i used the word invested lol...but hey the money was used for what we all like...so it's all good)

a t3/60 will easily get you mid 13 or better. you'll have to find out max boost with the higher compression - something less than 10 psig. cartuning puts down 300 whp on a gt with their base turbo (without intercooler?).

I found an awesome deal on top swap parts. Much cheaper than $1200.

A dd is a daily driver. If that really is your goal and no faster theres no reason to go with a turbo. trust me. With headers,FWI,3.2 pulley, and 1.9 rockers along with a tuner i was able to go 13.6 on street tires. If your wanting to go this route do the mods above FIRST. By having more compression you will actually have an advantage if you go about it in the correct way. The s/c will be way cheaper if thats all you want to do 1/4 mile wise. Now if you were wanting to go 12's then id say go with the turbo.

Just remember like myself thats all my goal was to ''mid 13's''
