Default New car and it is as slow as a mofo

Ok so I have been looking and looking and looking for parts for my car. Over and over and over again. I have a 2005 pontiac grand prix. Just the good old 3800 series 3 motor. It is ok on speed but not enough for me. I want more. I love speed. If you guys could please help me and tell me some quick ways of making this thing go faster. I dont know what motor I have and what not. Can you guys help me out. My warranty is almost up and when it does im ready to go.
thanks

INTENSE-Racing.com

ZZPerformance

W Body Store

Those above links are pretty much the only major players in the 3800 community. Anything you want or need can be had from one of those three.

I'd suggest for starters, purchase a CAI (Cold Air Intake) and open up your exhaust.

Yeah, anything more than those mods listed above and you'll want to start looking at getting yourself something to scan knock with. The AeroForce Interceptor Scangauge is probably your best bet.

After cia and exhaust, probably a cam and some intake manafold work. Headers, down pipe, pcm. That should get her rolling pretty good. Whata think Street?

Going to have to do some head work along with whatever cam he chooses too, although I'm sure he already knows that.

Sounds good to me though, just depends on what his definition of 'fast' is and how far he's willing to go to achieve it.

Yea, if he wants to spend the money he could always go with a top swap or turbo set up. Not cutting you out of the conversation snap on, just bouncing my ideas of Street wolf and giving you ideas at the same time.

well if he's looking for something with decent mpg and still some power just do a top end swap with the m90, im thinking that might work for him, unless he wants to go big power(Turbo time).

If it was me and I was going to spend that much money, I'd go for the turbo and get more out of it than a s/c.

I feel the same way man, after driving a 380+ bhp Charger I need more speed out of my Grand Prix, probably a CAI and a new PCM to start out with, after that I wouldn't know what to tell you.
