Exclamation Do it yourself air intake?

Hello all, I just got my Grand Prix a few months ago. I love it but I would like to do a few mods to it. I used to have a Dodge Dakota (gas hog) and I found plans to make your own cold air intake for it. Now that I got the new car, I am trying to do the same thing. Trouble is, the only "plans" I can find are for 03' and older, or the supercharged. I just have a regular 2004 GT2. I had a few ideas of how I could to do it. I got on ebay and looked a pictures of how others did it (kinda crappy lookin) so I wanted to see if there was anyone on here who had plans or had pictures/specs on how to do it. I do like the FWI method, but would rather it not go down that far to the ground (lots of high water when it rains here). Any suggestions would be great guys. I'll post pictures when I'm done! Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing...what did you use to secure the pcm? I'm doing mine right now, and all I got are zip ties...thinking of going back down there with some sheet metal and some screws, cuz even though I'm sure the zips will hold...it just doesn't seem right.

I secured mine with black zip ties and it has held for a while now with no movement, had sheetmetal screws and they broke. The wire harness holds most of the pressure because it is pretty stiff.
