with the air conditioner on. if i floor the gas, sometimes it makes a weird noise. its obvious that its coming from the ac compressor. is that normal or is my compressor startin to go. ive had this car for 2 years and has done it since i had it. oh btw, its a 02 gp gt

Without hearing it, it's hard to say. The compressor is supposed to disengage when you go WOT. According to the factory service manual, it's also supposed to disengage during a shift.

If memory serves me correctly, when you do go WOT....the compressor shuts off. it could be the clutch. of course this is just speculation...

yeah sounds like the clutch is messed up..imma have that thing replaced while i still got the extended warranty
