 04 starts then dies hello, i am new to this forum! i just bought an 04 grand prix 3.8.. Every once in awhile when i start it, it just runs for a second then dies. it will do that a couple times unless i hit the gas to keep it running. any ideas on what this could be? i checked the fuel pressure and it was normal. thanks in advance!!        |

| Re: 04 starts then dies had the same problem brought it to my dealer they cleaned the throttle body and advanced the idle position and hasnt happened since

| Re: 04 starts then dies um im not sure mine was still under the 30 day warranty so i didnt want to mess with it and i got it from a strictly pontiac dealer that i have known for a few years only took him 15 mins
