They said at the shop all is good with it now. The fixed it and said it ran great.
Now I owe my parents 550 bucks.

I would highly HIGHLY recommend you change your oil out as soon as possible even if it was done at the shop. The reason for this is that coolant is very persistent inside a motor. That is to say that it hides in places, adheres to things and could still be in enough volume to cause issues if not flushed out. Doing a couple quick oil changes will greatly reduce any risk from any remaining contamination.

Do one as soon as you get it home, then maybe another in 500 miles or so. Im kinda anal about this since Ive seen from oil analysis how long coolant can persist in an engine so others may have different recommendations that I would take into account as well.

I agree with Scotty even though a shop says its all good it's better to be safe than sorry. Change the oil and filter just like Scotty said and just watch the temps and check your oil to make sure it's all out. It's cheaper to take pre-cautions than to buy a new motor.

Ya I am going to change it in 100 miles which will be like next week. I checked it today and it looked all good. I drove it today and it felt the best I have ever have.
